Betty Lou Rockmaker Obituary
Betty Lou Rockmaker, 84, of Allentown, died October 7, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the widow of T. Milton Rochmaker, who died May 6, 1979. Born in N. Whitehall Twp., she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Irene (Smith) Herbert. Betty Lou was a financial administrator and bookkeeper for Aviation Council of PA and the Flight School Assoc. of North America. She was a member of Congregation Keneseth Israel, Allentown. She loved to play the piano and organ and taught swimming for the American Red Cross, Allentown for 30 years. Survivors: Sons, Robert H. Rockmaker and Michael E. Rockmaker; siblings, Irene Held and Jean Houston; grandchildren, Justin R., Eben M. and Jena A. Rockmaker. She was predeceased by siblings, Edgar and William Herbert. Services: Graveside 2 p.m. Wednesday at Keneseth Israel Cemetery, S. Whitehall Twp. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton Streets, Allentown.
