Caitlin Noelle Dickey, 9, of Center Valley, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, May 17, 2013 after a five year battle with brain cancer. Born in Bethlehem on June 6, 2003, she was the daughter of James R. and Meredith L. (Lucas) Dickey. Caitlin was a fourth grade student at the Joseph P. Liberati Intermediate School of Southern Lehigh School District. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Bethlehem. Caitlin was very positive and driven. She always said, I love you and thank you. Caitlin was a Girl Scout with Troop 6205 and played baseball in the Miracle League. Caitlin loved all her wonderful friends who always stood by her side. She loved the colors pink and purple, stuffed animals and baby dolls and wanted to be a mom. Survivors: In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her seven-year-old brother, Jakob M. Dickey; maternal grandmother, Catherine Lucas of Boca Raton, FL; maternal grandfather, Alfred Lucas and his wife Janet of Hobe Sound, FL; paternal grandparents, Richard and Margaret Dickey of Hickory, NC; maternal great-grandmother, Julia Lucas of Seymour, WI. Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 44 E. Market Street, Bethlehem, 18018. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m., at the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, and on Wednesday morning, from 10 a.m. in the church, until time of services.
