Cecilia Ferenchak
Cecilia Ferenchak died Tuesday, January 22, 2013, in Allentown. Born in Ormrod, PA and raised in Catasauqua, she was the daughter of John and Anna (Hamilla) Ferenchak. Cecilia worked in the garment industry for many years retiring from the Grief Company in 1984. She also worked in the Bridal Department of Dobnoffs department store in the 1950s. Survivors: Cecilia will be lovingly missed by her sister, Rose Marie (Mimi) Hall; and her brother-in-law, Tom Hall. She will be especially missed by her nephews, Michael A. Vasievich of Michigan, Kyle Ferlemann of Kansas and nieces Lynda Johnson of Ohio and Amy Hensler of Indiana and their extended families. She also will be greatly missed by her best friend of 62 years, Phyllis Fenstermacher. Cecilia was predeceased by six siblings, George, Joseph, Anna, John, Agnes and Olga. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m., Monday, January 28, in the Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena 18th and Turner Sts., Allentown. Preceded by a visitation 10 to 10:45 a.m. in the Robert C. Weir Funeral Home, 18th and Turner Sts., Allentown. Interment St. Andrews Calvary Cemetery, Catasauqua, PA.
