Charles W. Bloss, Jr.
Charles W. Bloss, Jr., 82, of Danielsville, died Friday, November 8, 2013, at the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. For over 57 years, he was the husband of Anna May (Berosh) Bloss. Born in Bloomsburg, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Pauline (Giger) Bloss. Before retiring, he worked at Mack Trucks, 5C plant, as an electrician. After retirement, he and his wife sailed from 1986 to 1994 along the coast and obtained his captains license. In retirement, he drove for Easton Coach, then Penske Trucking. He was an U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Stephanie Ann of Danielsville; grandson, Matthew Anthony Bloss; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Thaddeus;brothers, Robert and his wife, Margie, Kenny, Gary and his wife, Donna; sister, MaryLou Starrett; and sister-in-law, Sandra. He was predeceased by a brother, Allan. Services: Graveside with military honors, 11 a.m., Friday, November 15, at Highland Memorial Park, 1441 Roth Ave., Allentown. www.trexlerfuneralhome.com.
