Charles P. Oswald, 58, of Schnecksville, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicular accident in Heidelberg Township. He was the husband of Carolyn I. (Schwartz) Oswald. The couple celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary last December 9. Born in Allentown, September 18, 1953, Charles was the son of the late Charles F. and Charlet A. (Wisser) Oswald. A member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local No. 19, in Philadelphia, he was employed as a foreman installing Commercial HVAC. Charles was lifelong friends of the owners of Ironton Auto Body, Inc. in Ironton. Having a passion and love for his family, he enjoyed taking long walks with his wife, hunting, farming, off road racing and landscaping. He will be remembered for his rough exterior but more importantly for his soft spot for his family. He would help anyone. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Carolyn; son, Charles F. Oswald and his wife, Theresa, of Schnecksville, daughters, Amy E. Foster and her husband, Matt, of San Diego, CA, Alecia A. Oswald of Schnecksville; siblings, Gary L. Oswald of Coopersburg, Keith R. Oswald of Weatherly, Janice M. Foulke of Blandon, Linda A. Rentschler of Hamburg, Karen M. Orendach of Allentown; grandchildren, Jacob, Natasia, Nicole, Matthew and Drew. Services: A memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with Deacon Gary J. Granato officiating. Visitation period from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home. Private Interment.
