Clifford J. Old Man Babin, Jr. died on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 after a motor vehicle accident. He was born in Bethlehem; the son of the late Clifford J. Babin, Sr. and Gertrude M. (Wetzel) Babin. He was the loving husband to Meredith H. (Heller) Babin of Bethlehem. Clifford retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corporation as a crane operator. He currently owned and operated Cliffs Rollback Service. Cliff was a car enthusiast who loved his family very dearly. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Meridy; sons, Brian and his wife, Jackie, Clifford, III and his wife, Kathy, Michael Jones and his wife, Amy; his daughter, Megan Abrantes and her husband, Jesse; his sister, Trudy, wife of William Kramm and his grandchildren, Brittany, Cassie, Colden and Greyson. Services: A Joint Funeral Service will be held for both Clifford and Gertrude on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
