I did not know of Dennis or his family or friends until the day of this tragedy, but all of them will be in my thoughts forever. May everyone that has been left behind, take care of each other to get through this time of need. My love and thoughts are with all of you.

I can't believe Denny is gone, our sympathy goes out to the entire family. Although I had heard about the tragedy I didn't realize it was anyone I knew, until I was reading about the funeral, and realized it was the man I knew as Denny for years when I got parts for my husband's Mack. He always ask about our daughters and would share stories about his grandkids, I remember when he showed me his picture tatoo, how proud he was of them. What a great loss for everyone, heaven has gained a great addition.

Dear Dennis,
I had only met you one time when we switched off caring for the kids, but I feel like I knew you quite well. Denise and your grandchildren were always talking about you, if not talking to you on the cell. You were like a father to many of the cousins and neighbors. The sense of humor and kindness you passed along to all who knew you will always be in our hearts.I was looking forward to getting to know you better this summer on the outer banks, while our children and grandchildren played in the sun and sand.We will look to you to keep us updated on the race, I hear the reception is especially good in your new neighborhood. I'll keep an eye out on your kids from down here. Please watch over mine from your vantage point.

My husband worked with Dennis at Allentown Mack. When he told me what happened, my heart sank. Words can not express how sorry we are for tremendous loss.
However I know that with the Lord and that standing on your faith during this time is the only true way you will see yourself through this tragic time.

Dennis There are no words in the vocabulary to say how much you will be missed. You were family to us in every way.The bond you had with Johnny and Jason made Charles and I very proud.I am so glad that You ,Tristan and Jason spent that whole Friday (06-25-2010) afternoon together. We will truely need the Lord's help to get us through this difficult time.A lot of your and our survival was due to the fact of how close we all were.I don't think anyone else will understand or realize the hurt you went through with the death of Johnny.I remember sitting in your living quarters and you uttering the words of feeling his presence surrounding you.Charles and I will certainly be at a loss without you.The memories we all made together from kids to our adult life will remian with us the rest of our lives. We will never forget that you were part of our family. It will be hard to deal with whether we are at the races, eating at Woody's in MA, dining on your favorite food I would whip up for you (my special crab salad, beef ramen, and yes even that cheese cake, and ooh those garlic mashed potatoes). You might not be with us at the house or the garage everyday anymore physically, but you will be in our hearts. We can't undo the tragic event that took you from us, but now You,Johnny,Denise,Gramm, and Pop are together watching over all of us.Our chain is broken now but when our time is up here on Earth our chain will once again be linked. We love and miss you Dennis.

I really wish that there were words adequate enough to express my shock sense of loss over this tragedy. There were so many fun times and great memories surrounding Denny, Denise, and Al throughout the time spent with them in the 80's... friends, coworkers, and travel companions on many an adventure. I will miss all of you. God bless all impacted by this tragedy.

We are sorry for your tragic loss of your GrandFather, Nephew, Best Friend. Dennis stands next to Jesus, completely understanding all of God's mysterious ways. We hope this poem will help to ease your grief.
"The Other Side

I’m over on the other side
Where life and death softly divide…
Left my skin and bones behind
Now I’m over on the other side.

Can you feel me there with you?
My breath is gone but I’m not through.
loved you then and I still do
from over on the other side.

I can fly. Really fly.
Below the earth…all through the sky…
Tell them all I did not die.
I’m just over on the other side.

It’s good here on the other side.
The sweetest songs...the bluest skies….
Thank you for the tears you cried
But it's good here on the other side.

I can fly. Really fly.

Below the earth...all through the sky.
Tell them all I did not die.
I’m just over on the other side

The world is smaller than a needle's eye.
Where life and death softly divide…
When you leave your skin and bones behind
I’ll be waiting on the other side.

I can fly. Really fly.

Below the earth ... all through the sky.
Go tell them all I did not die.
I’m just over on the other side."

Dennis,

I'm shocked and outraged over the news of this senseless tragedy. I'm very happy to have met you in my lifetime. I will always remember which treadmill you used at the Rec Center and all the times we would walk together, talk about Muscle cars, Weasel, and Northampton Wrestling. My heart goes out to you and your family, and I hope God stays with you always in heaven. Rest in Peace.
