Donald V. Dellorto
Donald V. Dellorto, 83, of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in his home. He was the husband of Norma D. (Frease) Dellorto. They were married 36 years in July. Born in Chicago, IL, Don later lived in Avon Lake, OH, Winfield, IL, Clinton, NJ, Vista, CA, and Bethlehem. He was employed by AT&T for 33 years before retiring as an engineer. In Bethlehem he was an active member of the Cancer Support Community, volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, as a mentor at Nitschmann Middle School, and with property and building at First Presbyterian Church. While in California he co-owned Swedish Auto Specialists, volunteered at a radio station and a vocational school. Survivors: Wife, Norma; children, Mary, Colleen Unrath, Mike, all of Seattle, WA, Kathy (Takashi) Yagahashi and Ellen, both in Illinois; five grandchildren, Mike and Ann Unrath, Brandon, Emily and Bridgett Yagahashi; three stepchildren; five stepgrandchildren; brother, Ken and wife, Betty, in Illinois. He was predeceased by a son, Tom; and a sister, Mary Kiffer. Services: A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 13, in First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem.
