Faye A. George Obituary
Faye A. George of Breinigsville went home to be with her Lord on Oct. 6, 2012. She was the wife of the late Robert W. George. Born Jan. 25, 1935 in New Tripoli, PA, she was the daughter of Helen (Sittler) Follweiler and the late Elwood W. Follweiler. Faye was a 1953 graduate of Slatington High School. In her early years she worked for Oram Studio and Hess Brothers as a photo coloration artist. The majority of her married life Faye was a homemaker.Faye was a faithful member of Faith Evangelical Free Church. She actively participated in the senior citizen group at Faith, as well as with the Alburtis Senior Citizens. Fayes passions included gardening, planting flowers, cooking and baking. A yearly highlight was attending and participating in the Allentown Fair. Faye and Robert would enter baked goods and a wide variety of items for judging. Survivors: Faye is survived by her daughter, Lynn and husband, David Bogert of Alburtis. There was a very special place in Fayes heart for each of her grandchildren, as well as for her grand dog, Maggie. Granna will be deeply missed by Cory and Jodi. In addition to her mother, Helen, Faye is survived by a brother, William Follweiler. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Follweiler. Services: Memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at 11am in Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville. A calling hour will begin at 10am.
