Francis L. Burgert
Francis L. Burgert, 76, husband of Marlene F. (Mohr) Burgert for 55 years of Pennsburg, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at home. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Catherine Burgert. A Peacetime Veteran of the U.S. Army, Francis retired from Pillsbury in 1994 after working 25 years in production. He was a longtime member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, VFW Post #5954, Red Hill, American Legion Post # 184, East Greenville and Red Hill Fire Company. Survivors: Wife; children, David F. Burgert and wife, Debra of East Greenville, Pattie L. Perry and husband, Edward of Zion Hill, Gary T. Burgert and wife, Beth of Middlesex, NY and Louis J. Burgert and wife, Heidi of Pennsburg; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Michael W. Burgert. Services: Mass, 11 a.m., Friday at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd, Pennsburg, PA 18073. Burial follows in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg. Viewing 10 to 11 a.m. at church.
