James D. Mr. Stat Lindenmoyer, 65 of Northampton, PA died Monday, July 29, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Muhlenberg in Bethlehem, PA surrounded by friends. Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Woodrow and Harriet (Beers) Lindenmoyer. He was a graduate of Northampton Area Senior High School. He was a sports writer for the Blue Mountain Gazette and the Northampton Press. He was elected into the Northampton High School Athletic Hall of Fame as a contributor/historian in 2011. His lifelong love of Northampton sports led Jim and his dad Woody to compile a historical compendium of Northampton High School Athletic statistics, leading to his nickname Mr. Stat. He also re-established a newsletter when he lived at Woodland Terrace in Allentown. He was a member of St. Pauls U.C.C. in Northampton. Survivors: are cousins Ken Beers and wife Cecil of Dayton, OH, Kenny Lindenmoyer of Allentown, and scores of friends. Services: A viewing is scheduled for Thursday evening, August 1, 2013, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in St. Pauls U.C.C., 105 E. 19th Street, Northampton, and again on Friday, August 2, 2013, in the church from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the church with the Rev. Todd Fennell officiating. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery, Northampton, PA. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church memorial fund c/o the funeral home.
