Attorney Joe, Judge Ed, and Dr. James,

We were all so saddened to hear of your mother's death. She was certainly a remarkable woman and was respected by all who knew her. My parents, Grace and Paul Lipari, and our entire family felt priveledged to have known both your parents. With the recent passing of our mother, it is comforting to know they may be sharing some good times together.

My Deepest Sympathies and Condolences to the entire Reibman family. Since I am currently living/working in Washington, DC, and commuting home only on weekends, I regret not being able to pay my respects in person. Mrs. Reibman was a very rare woman, and people like her do not come around often. She was loved and respected by our Lebanese community, and will never be forgotten in this household....Rest in Peace, my friend...

It was my great pleasure and privilege to know Senator Reibman. She was on the search committee to hire me as Director of the PA Council on the Arts. She has the longest record of service in the agency;'s history, as she did in the Senate, as the first woman to serve there.

She was a great advocate for the arts and for the myriad ways in which govenment could join with individuals and other private interests in improving the quality of our lives and our communities. She was a great civic leader.

Early on in my tenure, she honored me with a personal tour of her district. At lunchtime we joined her husband for a tuna sandwich in a tiny humble diner near his office. It was, as they suggested, a great tuna sandwich.

Such was the range of her goodness, from appreciating such simple pleasures to advocating for all that makes our live richer.

Dear Family:

Word of your mother's passing brought enormous sadness but an equal surge of pride in having shared some time with her and to have experienced the Reibman brand of sensitive-sensible, enlightened leadership.

Senator Reibman was a gift to education at all levels in Pennsylvania. Her legacy is a rich one.

Please know that many share your sorrow.

To: Attorney Joseph Reibman, Judge Edward Reibman and Dr. James Reibman

A long-standing obligation in Harrisburg on March 13th precludes my attending the services for your mother. I was always proud to think I was a long-time friend, both personally and professionally, of your mother and father. Senator Reibman's commitment to her family and constituents, Lehigh Valley and the commonwealth made her truly an exceptional person. Class, dignity, approachability, graciousness and genuine caring placed her in a unique and very small group of extraordinary public servants.
