John F. Veanus, 58, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, October 2 at home with his family. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of Helen (Orosky) Veanus of Bethlehem and the late Charles H. Veanus. John honorably served his country with the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He worked for Tommy Rowes Bike Shop and ran his own construction company. He enjoyed working on and collecting antique cars and motorcycles. Survivors: He will be sadly missed by his mother; six daughters, Christina Resetar, Crystal, Chastity, Morgan, Raven and Dakota Veanus, two sons, John and Austin Veanus, all of Bethlehem; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Jim Orosky of Delaware, and Butch Veanus of Bethlehem; sisters, Maryanne Schoenberger and Roseanne Veanus McCafferty; several nieces and nephews; aunt, Teresa Flecksteiner; and his significant other, Mary Jo Necessary. He was predeceased by his daughters, Christine Gallo and Charity Veanus, son, Robbie Veanus.
