Lois Sheldon Stein, 102, of Allentown, passed away July 17, 2017 after a brief stay at Kirkland Village, Bethlehem. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Edith (Tubbs) Sheldon. She was the widow of Paul (Ep) W. Stein, who passed away in 1990. Lois and Paul spent most of their married life on the Ep-Lo Farm in Zionsville. Lois was a volunteer in Allentown to many organizations, including over 50 years with the American Red Cross and over 38 years with the Miller Keystone Blood Bank. In 2008, the Lehigh County Office of Aging Services honored her with the Unsung Hero's Award for her exceptional generosity with her time and talents towards enhancing the lives of others. Lois was a dedicated life-long member of the Episcopal Church of the Mediator, Allentown. Survivors: She is survived by generations of her loving family, her devoted church family and her many dear friends. Services: Memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 26th at The Episcopal Church of the Mediator, Allentown. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown. I miss your even attitude, everyone was someone great, your smile, your off to the side comments to me and the fun we had together at Easter Seals, it was a long journey for both of us, miss you my friend.

Dear sweet Lois,
She worked as a volunteer at Easter Seals as well. She never said no. A beautiful, courageous lady. She will be missed very much. Love you Lois.
