Molly Hude, 24, of Slatington, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, resulting from a car accident in Belize, where she was doing research towards receiving her Masters Degree in Archaeology and Anthropology. Throughout her college career Molly was able to go on several digs, including three previously in Belize where she ascended to Supervisor of a new dig in 2010. She also assisted with a dig in Morocco that was featured by National Geographic. She was an avid participant of the Burning Man Festival in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada. Molly had a passion for traveling and education. Her family and friends remember her for her kind and generous ways, her artistic ability, but most of all her love of life and the adventure of new experiences.
