We are sorry for your loss of your son, Nicholas Daniel. Surely God needed him as a special angel and recalled him back to Heaven. We hope this poem will help to ease your grief.
""WHEN GOD CALLS LITTLE CHILDREN"
When God calls little children
to dwell with him above,
We mortals sometime question
the wisdom of his love
For no heartache compares with
the death of one small child
Who does so much to make our world,
seem wonderful and mild
Perhaps God tires of calling
the aged to his fold,
So He picks a rosebud,
before he can grow old.
God knows how much we need them,
and so he takes but a few
To make the land of Heaven
more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult still
somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye."
So when a little child departs
we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children,
Angels are hard to find."

A Prayer for Infants and Children
Dear God, we know that in Your Divine Mercy, You would never will the death of a child, but You allow certain things to happen because they are all part of the mystery of Your Divine Plan. We can never hope to fully undestand these things, but we pray for Your Grace and Strength to help us accept that which we cannot control. We know that in Your Fatherly Love, You will never give us more than we are capable of handling, and that when You close one door, You always open another. Give us the strength, in this time of grief and loss, so that we may find that door and the Peace that awaits us on the other side. Keep this little one safe in the arms of your Son, Jesus Christ, until the time that we are all reunited and every tear is wiped away. Amen.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.
