Wilson, Philip Mark Philip Mark Wilson, age 53, born in Batavia, NY, passed away September 2015 at his childhood home in Allentown, Pa. He was the son of Dr. Charles F. Wilson and the late Joan M. (DeOrio) Wilson. He graduated from William Allen High School in 1979, and Penn State University with high distinction in 1982. An economist by training, Philip lived and worked in Norristown, PA and Alexandria, VA for several decades before returning to the Allentown area to help provide care for his father. Over the course of his career, Philip worked for Ketron, LSA, Bionetics, and Technomics, and consulted for numerous other firms. Philip was predeceased by his mother Joan M. Wilson; his brother Charles L. Wilson; and his nephew Zachary C. Wilson. He is survived by his father Dr. Charles F. Wilson, Allentown, PA; his brother James M. (Elma), West Chester, PA; his son Rory Lee Wilson (Brooke) and his grandson Cadan Philip, Scottsdale, AZ; his aunt Ethel Kerschner, Drums, PA; and his niece Elena Zuyok, Seattle, WA. Philip was an avid reader and an excellent writer, both solitary pursuits, but he also enjoyed extended conversations with friends and family. He spent time exploring many of the state and national parks of the Southwest and Pacific Northwest with his son, Rory, and looked forward to sharing those experiences with his grandson. Services: The family welcomes friends and former classmates to join them for a memorial service, Saturday, October 10th at 2 pm, Christ EC Church, 2135 Tilghman St, Allentown, PA. As Philip's twin passions were music and nature, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rex Foundation, www.rexfoundation.org Edward J. I just heard the sad news about Phil Wilson. He was way too young to leave us. We worked for the same company (KETRON) for years. Phil had a unique way of working which made me laugh. What a sweet guy he was, may he rest in peace.
