Dear Nelda,
So very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. In his professional life he was an inspiration to all of his fellow PT colleagues. His warmth, humor and gentle nature has touched so many through the years. We are the lucky ones to have known such a wonderful man as Dick. Of all his accomplishments in his life, I know he was most proud of his family and that all started with his unending love of you Nelda. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

As a new grad PT assistant back in 1974, "Mr S" gave me my first job at Allentown Hospital. That started a career that so far has lasted 36 years. He was a great therapist, some one to emulate and he was a lot of fun to work with as well. I hope he rests in peace...

Dear Steigerwalt Family - I was so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. I worked with him in Home Care. He was such a great guy. He loved his patients, his work, and most of all his family. I remember how impressed we were with him; how he hung in there when they had us start using the laptops for our visits. He was a genuine, kind person. May God Bless you always with his peace.
