We were saddened to here of Bob's passing. We were hopeful to see him and Leanne this summer in PA but it was not to be. Bob was both a respected colleague and a good friend. Many great dinners to remember.

Dear Leanne,
May your memories of the yesterdays carry you through all your tomorrows. Your heart is aching now with the loss of Bob so soon after your Mother's passing. I have such fond memories of your wedding 47 years ago.

It was always a pleasure to have Bob stop in the office. He always had a kind word and a smile. He was truly a pleasure to deal with whenever he came in to drop off his bill, or pick up information. The Borough of Macungie will be a little sadder place now that he is gone.

Drum Corps International has lost a true friend of both the fans and the corps. We will forever be grateful for what Bob gave to the drum corps activity in his role as the chairman of the DCI East committee. He lived his vision to ensure that the event in Allentown was always "the best show on tour," and it truly has been under his guidance. Our hearts ache for Leanne and the entire Bennett family.

Bob's eternal peace will no doubt be disrupted a time or two with a call on the event radio asking for a little help with the weather. Something tells me he will gladly answer. A good man, it has been an honor to know him and an absolute pleasure to work with him.

My father was a great man. While he is now gone, he will never be forgotten. He is in a better place now, where the trains run on time and the Drum Corps play all day. I miss you Dad.

I am so sorry to hear about Bob. I had always enjoyed working with him and you, Leanne with the committee. I will always remember the good times we all shared. He did a great job at keeping the drum corps activity in Allentown. Please take care and God bless.
