Stanley W. Dilliard, Sr., 95, of Bethlehem, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013, in Country Meadows. He and his wife, Geraldine (Kurtz) Dilliard, celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary in August. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Franklin and Hattie (Trexler) Dilliard. Stanley served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was employed by HT Lyons in Allentown as a sheet metal worker for many years. Stanley was a member of St. Stephens Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. He was also an avid hunter. Survivors: His loving wife, Geraldine; daughter, Holly Dilliard Gambler and her husband, Dennis, of Nazareth; son, Marcus Dilliard and his wife, Cindy, of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Verna Tycholiz of Allentown; and three grandchildren, Charissa Gambler, Emily and Anna Dilliard. Stanley was preceded in death by a son, Stanley W. Dilliard, Jr., in 2009; a sister, Mabel Steers; and brothers, Melvin, Elmer, Wilbur, Herbert, Clarence, and Lester.
