Stanley M. Xenakis
Stanley M. Xenakis, 57, of Bethlehem, died Saturday, September 6, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was born on March 5, 1951 in Baltimore, Md., son of the late Mathew and Anthi (Takas) Xenakis. He was the husband of Angela (Zannikos) Xenakis. They celebrated 35 years of marriage on June 3, 2008. Stanley was last employed as a safety director for G.C. Zarnas. He was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Bethlehem and the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Easton. He was a 1969 graduate of Liberty High School. Stanley was very devoted to his family, loving husband and wonderful father. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Angela; sons, Mathew S. Xenakis, husband of Viki, of Nazareth, and Anthony M. Xenakis, husband of Kerasia, of Easton; daughters, Anthi A. Xenakis, and Christina E. Xenakis, both at home; two grandchildren, Angela and Antonia; two godchildren, Dimetrios and Peter. He was predeceased by two brothers, Marcus and James. Services: will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008 in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 1607 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem. Calling hour will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday morning in the church. Burial will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements by Connell Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
