Stefan Petrowsky Obituary
Stefan Ihor Petrowsky, 84, of Allentown, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 peacefully in his home. He was the loving husband of 58 years to Olga (Belzecky) Petrowsky. Born in Ukraine, he was the son of the late Filko and Hellah Petrowsky. Stefan was retired from the former Willard Battery/ Exide. He was a member of St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: Children, Dorothy Sobkiw and husband Bohdan of Carneys Point, NJ, Lillian Reinhard of Allentown, Raymond Petrowsky of Allentown, grandchildren, Christine Lindenmuth, Bohdan Sobkiw, Jr., Andrew Behler, Nicholas Behler, Nicole Petrowsky, Timothy Petrowsky and Taylor Petrowsky;five Great Grandchildren Services: A viewing will be held Thursday 9-10A.M. with a service at 10 A.M. all in Kohut Funeral Home, Inc. 950 N Front St. Allentown 18102. Burial to follow in St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Josaphats care of the funeral home.

I first met Steve when he came in to buy paint, he was at Exide at the time. I always looked forward to seeing him amd chating with him, In 1993 I was at Borispil airport Ukraine when I hear someone call my name, I recognized the voice but shouted where are you a hand shot up, it was good to see someone from home. Steve and I had a good time on the trip home, Sorry to read of his passing. condolences to the family. Vichnaya Pamyiat! Ihor Puhacz, Macungie, Raisa' dad.

Petrowsky Family,
So sorry to hear about Mr Petrowsky's passing. I do remember him being the joker of all of our dad's. He always had a joke for every occasion. Now all of our dad's are all together again. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. With sincere condolences and my sympathy.

Ray,
So sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I always remember when he would call for you on the phone at the Water Shed. He asked for you the same way every single time!! He was always so nice. My condolences to you and your family.
