Thomas J. Hrabovsky Obituary
Hrabovsky, Thomas J.Thomas Joseph Hrabovsky, 73, of Lynn Township, Lehigh County, died March 27, 2014, in the in-patient hospice unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, where he was admitted earlier in the day. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Gostynski) Hrabovsky. They were married October 22, 1966. Born in Pringle, Luzerne County, he was a son of the late Michael P. and Anna T. (Ference) Hrabovsky. He was a member of Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown. Mr. Hrabovsky was a 1959 graduate of Central Catholic High School, Kingston, Luzerne County. Thomas was a United States Air Force veteran with service during the Vietnam Conflict. He was employed for 35 years as an Electrical Repair Leader for PPL Electric Utilities, Allentown. Thomas was a member of Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club, New Tripoli. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Theresa M. (Hrabovsky), wife of Harold L. Honeywell, Hunlock Creek, Luzerne County; and a son, Thomas P., husband of Brenda S. (Diss) Hrabovsky, Bath, Northampton County. Other survivors include a sister, Arlene (Hrabovsky), widow of John J. Straub, Forty Fort, Luzerne County; brother, Michael, husband of Carolyn (Lampman) Hrabovsky, Hickory, NC; three grandchildren, Melissa A. Hrabovsky, Adam T. Hrabovsky and Brittany M. Diss; and one great granddaughter, Brooke A. Hrabovsky. Services: Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. from Saint Mary's R.C. Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown with Reverend Monsignor Walter T. Scheaffer as celebrant. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville. Friends may call Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, and Wednesday, from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. in the church.
