Veronica M. Andreas
Veronica M. Ronnie Andreas, 83, of Allentown, formerly of Palmerton, passed away Monday, December 16, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. Born in Lehighton, she was the daughter of the late Andrew S. and Anna C. (Anglovich) Mermon. Working in the food service industry, she retired from B. Braun and previously was employed at various restaurants in the Lehigh Valley. Veronica was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Church, Allentown Senior Center, St. Marys Ukrainian Church senior group, and Palmerton Pistol Club. Her sparkling personality will be missed by all. Survivors: Daughter, Linda J., with whom she resided; former husband, Richard C. and wife, Jovonne R., Palmerton; brother, Eugene and wife, Sylvia, Mahoning Valley; sister-in-law, Josephine Mermon, Mahoning Valley; nephews; nieces; canine companion, Rocky. She was preceded in death by brother, Andrew, sister, Anna Reed, and great niece, Michelle Lusch. Services: Divine Liturgy, 10 a.m. Saturday in church, 156 W. Green St. Panachida, 9:15 a.m. in Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 1335-37 W. Linden St. Call 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. Saturday and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
