Walter Walt George Denkowski, 60, of Zionsville, PA, passed away on November 22, 2012, in Quakertown. Walt was born on August 2, 1952 in King of Prussia. He was the son of the late Walter and Natalie Denkowski. He graduated from Upper Merion High School in 1971. He continued his education by earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, graduating from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA in 1975, where he was also a member of Beta Sigma Lambda fraternity. Many of his brothers have been lifetime friends. He worked as a key executive at Milliken Valve Company in Bethlehem for 12 years. He had many longtime coworkers and clients, whom he also considered close friends. Walt was a hardworking man who enjoyed good conversation and spending time with family and friends. In his spare time, Walt enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and exploring new places and ideas. He will be remembered for his kindness, enthusiasm, sense of adventure, and joy for life, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors: Walt is survived by his fiance, Debra Bloss of Zionsville; daughters, Jennifer VanderGast and her husband, Bryan of Gilbertsville, and Jessica Denkowski of Barto; brother, Mark Denkowski and his wife, Susan of Houston, TX; sister, Suzanne Marshall and her husband, Michael of Crisfield, MD; nieces, Courtney Shirar, Leah Marshall, Alexandra Denkowski, and Kristina Witt; nephews, Michael Marshall, Jr. and William Witt; his former wife, Donna Denkowski of Gilbertsville; and loving family friend, Andrea Latzko. Services: Walters family will receive condolences on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. until his funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (Rt. 202 and Sandy Ridge Rd.) in New Britain. Interment will follow the service at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery. www.fluehr.com.
