Warren Erdman, III
Warren Dushane Erdman, III, former Allentown School District teacher, 68, of Deltona, FL passed peacefully on March 17, 2013. He was a North Penn High School and Temple University graduate and obtained a Masters degree in education from Wilkes University. He taught at South Mountain Jr. High and ASD schools for 33 years. He was a 28-year US Army veteran. He was also a Captain in the Civil Air Patrol (USAF Aux), where he commanded Perkiomenville Squadron 808 and earned the highest honor of the Ranger program, the elite Expert Ranger Award. He served as Lions Club District Governor (Penn 14-R) in 2001 and 2002. He was a founding parishioner of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Harleysville, PA. He is remembered as a good son, a faithful husband a devoted father and beloved grandfather. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Amanda Sammons (Owen), Katrina Burgard (Galen); Son, Warren D Erdman, IV (Nisha); and five grandchildren. Services: A Ranger Wake and Services will begin at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 11 at the Days Inn, 3400 Airport Rd., Allentown, PA.
