Lloyd H. Rothenberger
Lloyd H. Rothenberger, 88, husband of Cathryn M. (Kriebel) Rothenberger, of Main Street, Red Hill, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in Life Quest Nursing Center. Born in East Greenville, he was a son of the late William H. and Emma (Edelman) Rothenberger and stepson of Lizzie (Becker) Rothenberger. He worked at Tri County Construction retiring in 1986. He was a Veteran and Sergeant in the Marines serving 33 months in the Pacific during World War II. He was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC. He started the local Marine Corp League in 1984; was a member of the 40 and 8; a member and Past Commander of the American Legion; a member of the VFW; enjoyed morning coffee with R.O.M.E.O, loved bowling and called bingo at St. Philip Neri Church. Survivors: Wife; two daughters, Sandra of Perkiomenville and Barbara, wife of Robert Reinheimer of Red Hill; brother, Leroy of Pennsburg; sister, June, wife of Pete Reigner of Pennsburg; two grandchildren, Crystal Snyder and Jason Smith and a great-granddaughter, Mackenna Rhea Snyder. A sister, Dorothy Fosnocht predeceased him. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Call 9:30-11 a.m. Friday.
