Thomas R. Gulla
Thomas R. Gulla, 86, of Emmaus, passed away at home on January 20, 2014. He was the son of the late Michael and Mary Gulla. Tom served in the US Army Signal Corps. from 1945-47. He was the owner of Gullas Mobil Service Station, Emmaus. He was one of the founding members of the East Penn Bank and an original member of its Board of Directors. He was also a member of Saint Matthews E.C. Church, Emmaus. Toms family extends sincere appreciation to Lehigh Valley Health Network Hospice for all of their wonderful care. Survivors: Tom will be lovingly remembered by Olga (Balascak) Gulla, his wife of 64 years; daughters, Joan Dodds (Dr. Peter), Harriet Fike (Rick); grandchildren, Jessica Cooper (Michael), Dr. Tyler Dodds, Lauren Fike, Courtney Fike; great-grandson, Dane Cooper; brother, Donald Gulla of Florida. Tom was predeceased by a brother, Michael. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 25 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
