Vincent A. Puglia
Vincent A. Vinny Puglia, 25, of Moore Township, formerly of Floyds Knobs, IN, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at the Muhlenberg Campus of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Bethlehem. Born in Louisville, KY on July 5, 1988, he was the son of Anthony J. and Judith A. (Bell) Puglia with whom he resided. A graduate of Northampton High School class of 2007, Vinny was active in athletics having played on the football and baseball teams. He later attended the University of Pittsburgh. Recently he was employed at the Iron Lakes Country Club. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Bath, and he loved watching college basketball. Known and loved for his kind-hearted soul, Vinny positively influenced others, and will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors: In addition to his loving parents; he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Angelina (Gallo) Puglia of Wood Ridge, NJ; sister, Lana Puglia of San Diego, CA; aunt, Nancy Shumann of Wood Ridge, NJ; uncle, Keith Bell and his wife, Donna, of Jeffersontown, KY; cousins, Walter, Rebecca, Karla, Keith Jr. and his wife, Amanda, Sara, Jonathan, and Josey. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elmer and Gladys (Cassity) Bell; as well as his paternal grandfather, Anthony F. Puglia; and his aunt, Gina (Puglia) Horne. Services: His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 24, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 210 E. Northampton Street, Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Sunday afternoon, from 1 to 6 p.m., in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown-Bath, PA 18014. Interment will be private. Contributions: In memory of Vinny may be made to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
