Angelina T. Graner
Angelina T. (Zuanet) Graner, 92, formerly of Allentown, died Thursday, February 19, 2014 at Cedarbrook - Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late John T. Reds Graner. Born in Stockertown, November 11, 1921, Angelina was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Buttazzi) Zuanet. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, where she was a member of the Womens Guild, volunteered for many years at annual church festival in the flea market, and was past President of the M & M Senior Group. Angelina was a 1939 graduate of Allentown High School, a former Girl Scout Leader at the Sacred Heart and St. Francis of Assisi parishes, a member of the former Y-wives of the YWCA, a charter member of CCHS Music Parents Association, a 32 year volunteer at Lehigh Valley Hospital and a member of the former Allentown Jets Femme Fans Club. Survivors: Children, John P. Graner of Rexburg, ID, Elissa A. Graner of Allentown; sisters, Palmira Pam Remmel of Center Valley, Ann Schneck and her husband, Dale, of Schnecksville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a daughter, Linda M. Kresley; and brothers, Rudolph and Lorenzo Zuanet. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield with the Rev. Msgr. Joseph P.T. Smith as Celebrant. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the church. Interment will follow the Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
