Mary Gensits
Mary A. Gensits, 99, formerly of Coplay, passed away March 2, 2014 at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem, where she resided for 26 years. She was married to the late Louis F. Gensits. Born in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Liebezeit) Domitrovits. Mary was a sewing machine operator for the former Clyde Shirt Co., Northampton for 43 years. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Coplay and its Altar and Rosary Society. Survivors: Daughters, Frances Walakovits of Coplay, Hilda Newhard of Whitehall; son, Louis J. Gensits and his wife, Elaine of Whitehall; grandsons, Edward Walakovits and his wife, Joan, Stephen Gensits and his wife, Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Kurt and Ryan Walakovits; Madison and Kaitlyn Gensits. She was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph and John Domitrovits. Services: 10 a.m. Friday, March 7, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home (, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., St. Peters Catholic Church, Coplay. Viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment, parish cemetery, Whitehall. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to the church or Holy Family Manor, both c/o the funeral home 18037.
