Albert C. Laubach
Albert C. Laubach, 61, of Quakertown, died Friday, March 14, 2014, in the Hospice House of St. Lukes VNA. He was the husband of Cheryl (Mullarkey) Laubach. Born in Phila, he was a son of Florence (Lutteroty) Fitzgerald of Belmar, NJ and the late Albert Laubach. He was a safety director for Parkside Utility Construction, Harleysville, where he worked for over 25 years. Al served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was active for years with Quakertown youth sports programs, especially football and baseball, serving in various offices and coaching. More recently, his joy was spending time with his granddaughters, great-nephews, and great-niece. Survivors: Surviving with his wife; son, Thomas, wife Kelly; and granddaughters, Ella and Addisyn of Pottstown; daughter, Lori Murphy, Quakertown; and siblings, James Fitzgerald, Maryanne Barndt, Lisa Sodano. Services: Als life will be celebrated with a gathering of family and friends, Sunday, March 23, 1 p.m., at Hobos Restaurant, Quakertown. Interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown will be at the convenience of the family. The Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W.
