Hassick, Dolores C.Dolores C. (Stephens) Hassick, 81, formerly of Coopersburg, died Monday, March 17, 2014 at Westminster Village, Allentown. Born in Hellertown on September 20, 1932 to the late John Stephens and Ella (Seigfried) Heil. She is the wife of the late George John Hassick, Jr. (died Nov. 9, 1989). Dolores worked at Horvath Knitting Mills, Coopersburg as a Presser. She is a member of Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Bethlehem (Colesville). Survivors: Children: George John Hassick III of Coopersburg, Elizabeth Ann wife of Dr. John C. Lychak of Bethlehem; companion: Edward Moditch of Allentown; siblings: Evelyn Ryan of Bethlehem, Doris Holley of Bethlehem; 4 grandchildren: Lisa Saul, Jennifer Godiska, Rachel Hlavinka, and Amanda King; 8 great grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers: John S., Charles, Leroy Stephens & Daniel Eisenhardt; sisters: Alice Wagner and Florence Sharer. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 6 - 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 followed by the service at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown.
