Kish, III, John J.John J. Kish, III, 85, of Allentown, died at home on Thursday, March 20, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Rose Mary (Mahalik) Kish. The couple would have celebrated 58 years of marriage on April 2nd. Born in McAdoo, he was the son of the late John J. II and Anna (Ford) Kish. He was a member of St. Stephen of Hungary Catholic Church in Allentown. He was an Army Veteran proudly serving his country twice in Europe during 1947 to 1952. John retired as a supervisor at the Mack Trucks Test Center in Allentown where he worked for 15 years. Previously he was employed by UPS driving double tractor trailers and as a welder at Air Products. He also taught welding and sat on the Industrial Trade Advisory Committee at Lehigh County Vo Tech. After his retirement, he worked part-time as a bus driver for Bieber Bus Lines. Survivors: Wife; Children, Donna M. Kish-Goodling and her husband Jeffrey of Allentown, and John J. Kish, IV and his wife Jane Frounfelker of Bethlehem; Grandson, Matthew Goodling of Atlanta; and Step Granddaughter, Megan Goodling Mowbray of Arlington, VA. Services: Monday, 1:15 p.m. Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown, followed by 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, St. Stephen of Hungary Catholic Church, Allentown. A viewing will be held from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment in Western Salisbury Cemetery, Allentown. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S. 12th Street, Allentown PA 18103.
