Arthur R. Kaduk Obituary
Kaduk, Arthur R.Arthur Kaduk, 94, formerly of Palmer Twp. died April 4, 2014 in his home at Moravian Village, Bethlehem. Born in White Plains, NY he was the son of the late Chonel and Ethel (Magid) Kaduk. He came to Easton in 1941 when he married Blanche Friedman and became associated with King's Cleaners, a downtown Easton family owned business since 1924. Arthur was drafted into the Army in 1942 and served his country honorably for three years overseas where he was involved in the installation of military dry cleaning plants all over Europe. In 1969, he and his wife became the sole owners of King's Cleaners. By this time, King's was one of the long-established businesses in Easton. He attended the National Institute of Dry Cleaning in Silver Springs, MD and derived much satisfaction from providing high quality service to his customers. He enjoyed reading and was an avid golfer who played at the Berkleigh Golf Club and Hunter's Run Golf Club in Boynton Beach, FL. Arthur was a member of Temple Covenant of Peace, Easton for more than 70 years and served on its Board of Trustees. He was also a member of Easton Rotary, Chamber of Commerce and Dallas-Lafayette Lodge #396, F.&A.M. Survivors: His daughter Betsy of Easton, son Bruce and daughter-in-law Cecilia of Montville, NJ; nieces and nephews. His wife of 72 years Blanche died in February; 2 brothers and a sister also died earlier.
