Young Jr., Carl L.Carl L. Young, Jr., 77, of Richland Twp. died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Twp. He is the husband of Patricia E. (Rufe) Young. He was born in Riegelsville on September 9, 1936 to the late Carl L. Sr. and Culah M. (Durns). Carl served our Country in the US Air Force for 20 years retiring in 1974 as a Master Sergeant. His tour of duty was in England, Turkey, Morocco, Iran and Pakistan and along the East Coast of the USA. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Riegelsville, Suits Us Hunting Club, Monroe County, Amateur Trapshooting Assoc., F & AM Prosperity Masonic Lodge #567, Friends National Museum of the USAF, Life Member of the NRA, AFSA, and Disabled American Vets. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 57 years; sons: Duane C. (Kathy) of Milford, NJ, Bruce D. (Becky) of Kintnersville; grandchildren: Kyle (Jaime), Christopher, and Ella; Great Granddaughter: Cheyenne; and several nephews. Predeceased by a sister: Shirley Godown. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 11 a.m. - 12 noon Monday, April 21, 2014 at the St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 470 Church Hill Road - Kintnersville, followed by the service at 12 noon. The interment will conclude services at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd. Newtown with military honors.
