Krchnavi, Emil Emil Krchnavi, 95, of Hellertown, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Twp. He is the husband of Alice (Yoshar) Krchnavi. He was born in Springfield Twp. on May 16, 1918 to the late John & Elizabeth (Sucansky) Krchnavi. He served our country faithfully in the US Navy during World War II. He worked as a Reconditioning Leader at the former Bethlehem Steel. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose, Quakertown, Edward H. Ackerman Legion Post #397, Hellertown. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 64 years; son: Paul J. Krchnavi and his wife Bonnie of Quakertown; siblings: Joseph S. and his wife Barbara of Naples FL, Agnes Besch of Quakertown; grandchildren: Tyler and Karlee. Predeceased by a daughter: Carolyn E. Snellman (5/20/2006), siblings: John Krchnavi, Mary Phillips, Ella Rummel, Helen Kovacs, Stephania Kovacs. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 - 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
