Venanzi, Jr., George SGeorge S. Venanzi Jr. , 69, of Bethlehem, passed away on April 16th at St. Luke's Hospice in front of many loved ones and his loving wife of 48 years, June Ellen (Horvath) Venanzi. Born in Bethlehem, George was the son of the late George and Claire (Sames) Venanzi. George was a graduate of Liberty High School and served as a United States Marine from 1962 to 1968. George drove for the United Parcel Service for 33 years, and after retiring in 2002, he was a bus driver for Easton Coach. George was a people person, and a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His unique sense of humor touched the lives of many people. George enjoyed camping, cruising and traveling in his RV with his wife June and spending the past seven winters in Florida with friends. He especially enjoyed his moments spent with his two granddaughters, Emma and Claire. George was loved, and will be missed, by many. Survivors: Wife June; sons Keith M. Venanzi and his fiance' Lisa Stevens of Slatington, Kevin G. Venanzi and his wife Jennifer and their daughters Emma and Claire of Pottstown; brother: Kenneth Venanzi of Colorado Springs, CO. Services: A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Monday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 3771 Easton Ave, Bethlehem, 18020, where friends may call from 10AM until time of services. Burial with military honors at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery will follow immediately after the service. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
