Roth, Elsie L.Elsie L. Roth, 97, formerly of Emmaus, passed away, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Paul E. Roth, who died in April 1991. Born in Kintnersville, she grew up in Bethlehem and was the last surviving of 12 children born to Clayton A. and Myrta A. (Mies) Miller. Elsie was a Nurse Assistant for Dr. Ralph E. Stoltz, DO in Emmaus, worked at Rodale Manufacturing in Emmaus, and was a waitress at the Hilltop Service Station in Zionsville, Pa. Elsie was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Congregational Church in Bethlehem and a former member of Olivet Evangelical Congregational Church and Kings Highway PTA. Elsie will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her friends and family. Survivors: her loving family include daughters, Shirley E. Hader of Moore Twp., with whom she resided, and Barbarba I. Bergenstock her husband, Barry of Bushkill Twp.; 4 granddaughters, Jennifer Collazo, her husband, Danny and their children, Breanna and Keith of Millstone, NJ; Ché Phoenix her daughter, Eliza Hader, her partner Kahmara Gabri El and their children, Aris and Kavanah of Catasauqua, Brenna Brouillette, her husband, Jeff and their daughter, Madison of Jupiter, FL and Dr. Blayne Bergenstock-Miller, her husband, Dr. Adam Miller and their son, Coleman of Warren, Pa. as well as many nieces and nephews. Elsie was preceded in death by her siblings, Catharine Jordan, Robert Miller, Fernanna Encarnation, Josephine Kimmel, R. Isabella Stephens, Clayton Miller, Jr., Wilbur Miller, W. Charles Miller, Stanley Miller, Jeannette Miller and Myrta Diefenderfer. Services: Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 26, 2014, in the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, where friends may call from 10 AM until time of service.
