Spaar, Ronald FrancisRonald Francis "Ronnie" Spaar, 65, of Hazle Township, formerly of Allentown, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014, in Kindred Hospital Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Lorraine L. (Klase) and the late Frances E. Spaar. He was employed as a parking lot attendant for the Allentown Parking Authority from 2000-2007. Previous employers include Gram Security, Emmaus, Jack Dankel Chevrolet (parts department), Booty Chevrolet, Bennet Chevrolet, and Lehigh County Communications Center. Ronnie was a member of the Allentown Fire Police for 30 years, resigning in 2007, Allentown Police Reserves, and Cetronia, South Whitehall Township and Greenawalds Fire Police. He was a member of the former Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church and Cetronia and Franklin social clubs. Survivors: mother, Allentown; sister, Barbara A. Ockenhouse, Allentown; uncles; aunts; cousins. Services: 12 PM Saturday in Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 1335-37 W. Linden St. Call 11 AM until service time as well as 6:30-8:30 PM Friday.
