Houser, Dennis W.Dennis W. Houser, 74, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of the late Rosalie (Formica) Houser, who died in 2009. He was a State Licensed Supervisor for the City of Allentown Waste Water Treatment Plant for 22 years, and also worked for the Southern Lehigh School District and Allentown Red Cross. Dennis proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Rankin. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Walter and Ellen (Seifert) Houser. He was a member of Rosemont Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, and the Peter American Legion Post # 576. Survivors: Sons, Joseph and Tony, both of Allentown; brother, Jeffrey of Allentown; granddaughters, Jessica and Amanda. He was predeceased by a brother, Gary. Services: Will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 28, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem, followed by burial in Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Family and friends may call Monday 10 - 11 a.m. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
