Steigerwalt, Bertine B.Bertine B. Steigerwalt, 93, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 in Phoebe Allentown. Born in Bowmanstown, he was a son of the late Daniel and Mary (Brown) Steigerwalt. Bertine was a graduate of Lehigh University, class of 1949. He was an accountant at Bethlehem Steel for over 30 years before retiring. Bertine was a US Army veteran of World War II. He was a member and former Deputy Director with H. Stanley Goodwin Masonic Lodge #648 F. & A.M., Bethlehem. Bertine was a member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, Allentown. Survivors: Son: Alan T. Steigerwalt of Columbus, OH and his mother Marian (Snyder) Steigerwalt of Allentown; Grandchildren: Daniel, Kathryn, John; Brother: Richard of Bowmanstown; Sister: Sharon Marshall of Walnutport. Bertine was predeceased by a brother Winston. Services: 10:30 am Tuesday, Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown 18102.
