Nancy Heinick Obituary
Heinick, Nancy Nancy A. Heinick, 85, of Allentown, died Friday, May 2 at her home. She was born April 18, 1929 in Allentown, a daughter of the late Steward and Emily (Reichard) Lehr. Her husband, George, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage, died in 2005. She graduated from Allentown High School in 1947, and Kutztown State Teachers College in 1951. For 25 years, she volunteered and worked part-time in the Lehigh Valley Easter Seal Society early intervention program. She was formerly a member and officer of the Allentown Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, and was an active member of Advent Moravian Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: Nancy is survived by sons, Richard and wife Angela of Mechanicsburg, PA; David and wife Carol of Norwood, NY; Michael and wife Helena of Easton, PA; Kenneth and companion Rebecca Bloodsworth of Dover, PA; and Thomas and wife Marcia of Kunkletown, PA, as well as ten grandchildren: Philip, Jennifer, Susan, Timothy, Kristi, Jeffrey, Christopher, Thomas, William and Kelly, and great-grandchildren Jackson and Khloe. She is preceded in death by her sister Margaret Lehr and brothers Elmer and John Lehr, and grandchildren Christopher Kohler and Stephen Heinick. Services: Noon, Saturday, May 10th in the Advent Moravian Church 3730 Jacksonville Road Bethlehem. Call 11:00 A.M. to Noon Saturday in the church.
