Kametz, Mary D.Mary D. Kametz, 81, of Whitehall, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was married to Edward J. Kametz for 57 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Brezina)Polaha. She was a cafeteria worker for East Hills Junior High School, Bethlehem and previously was employed at the former Western Electric Co., Allentown. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Coplay. An avid polka dancer, she was a member of the Coplay Saengerbund. Survivors: Husband, sons, Kevin and his wife, Kim of Wescoesville, John J. and his wife, Brenda of Bethlehem, Edward J. and his wife, Sheri of Hellertown; 5 grandchildren, 3 great-granddaughters; brothers, Joseph and William Polaha; sister, Dorothy Lichman; nieces, nephews. Services: Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 12, 2014, St. Peter's Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay. Viewing from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 2014, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay PA 18037. Interment, Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Contributions: To the church c/o the funeral home.
