Sherman R. Hahn Obituary
Hahn, Sherman R.Sherman R. Hahn 99, of Allentown, peacefully passed away on Tuesday June 3, 2014 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in East Plum, Pa Sherman was the son of the late Norman and Irene Noll Hahn. Sherman was happily married to Annie Marie Shelton for over sixty nine years. He served his country for eight years in the United States Air Force. For many years Sherman was the past Secretary and Treasurer for the Local #600 Carpenters Union. Sherman was a member of St John's Evangelical Congregational Church in Allentown where he served on the Church council. Survivors: Surviving with his wife Annie Marie is a daughter; Ann J. Kozak, of Easton, brothers; Robert Hahn of Nashville, TN and Marvin Hahn of Syracuse, NY. Brother in law; William B. Gist. Grandchildren; Kelly Haynes and Tracey wife of Dave Blattner. Great Grandchildren; Drew and Jenna Haynes, Jessica Harris, and Devin Blattner. Sherman was predeceased by his sisters Evelyn Ritter and Anne Gist. Services: Services will be Friday June 6, 2014 at 1:30pm in O'Donnell Funeral Home Inc. 908 Hanover Ave. Allentown, PA 18109. Calling hours are 12:30-1:30pm in the Funeral Home. Contributions: In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John's Evangelical Congregational Church.
