Manuel M. "Manny" Muniz Obituary
Muniz, Manuel M. "Manny"Manuel M. "Manny" Muniz, 84 of Palmerton, died on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at his home. Born April 18, 1930 in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Constantino "Connie" and Emily (Lucero) Muniz. He and his wife, Pat (Lykens) Muniz were married 60 years. He was an Iron Worker for Lehigh Structural Steel, Allentown for 32 years and then he worked at Reckitt and Coleman, Lehigh Valley for five years before retiring. Manny was an avid golfer and was a member of the undefeated 1948 Blue Bombers basketball team. He was passionate of his hometown Palmerton and its' history. Survivors: In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters, Kim wife of Alex Millar of Australia, and Tracy wife of Scott Smith of Palmerton; Grandchildren, Amy, Johnny and Zach; Great Granddaughter, Payeton; Brother, Ray Muniz of Orefield; Sisters, Dolores Rabenold of Palmerton, and Rosalie Breslen of Shamokin. He was predeceased by Brothers: Connie, Richard and Lawrence Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
