Schlosser, Arlene V.Arlene V. Schlosser passed away June 16, 2014 in Spokane Washington at the age of 97. She was born in Emmaus, PA., the 12th child of Alice and Horace Moyer. In her early years she moved to Allentown where she married Joseph R. Kennedy. She is survived by a son, Joseph (wife Varina) of Arizona, a daughter Jeanne (wife of Carl Mores) of Massachusetts, and a daughter from her second marriage to Henry Schlosser, Susan (wife of Edwin Deiter) of Spokane. A son Michael Kennedy died in an accident in 1960. She had two grandsons, Carl M. and Glenn (wife Heather) Mores. She also is survived by nieces and nephews. She was an active long time member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church in Allentown before retiring and moving to Spokane where she enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She had many hobbies including crocheting with fine thread, hand quilting, and sewing. She often entered items in the Spokane Fair and won many ribbons. Arlene deeply loved her Lord and her family and was well-loved by family and friends alike and will be greatly missed. We rejoice she is now at peace and reunited with her beloved son, Mike. Services: Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday June 26th followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the K. V. Knopp Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown.
