Ritter, Gerald T.Gerald T. Ritter, 84, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Evelyn I. (Nothstine) Ritter. They celebrated their 38 years anniversary in March. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Leon W. and Margaret E. (Schmoyer) Ritter. He worked as a meter reader for UGI before retiring in 1982 after 36 years. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown. He was a member of Cetronia and Greenawalds senior citizens groups. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Survivors: wife; step-daughter, Kay Ann Travis of Newport, ME; brother, Donald S. and his wife Charlotte of Salisbury Twp; sisters, Elaine O. Kapun of Allentown; Patricia J. wife of Wilbur Reimert of Allentown; Audrey J. Keeney of Allentown; Nancy A. wife of Gerald Hartman of Bethlehem; one granddaughter, Tiffany; six step grandchildren; seventeen step-great-grandchildren; seventeen step-great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey L. in 2006; step daughter, Rae Lee Lippincott; brothers, Richard, Forrest, William and Robert; sister, Betty Cameron; three great-grandchildren. Services: 2:00 pm Monday, June 30, 2014, Trexler Funeral Home 1625 Highland St., Allentown.
