William R. Larison Obituary
Larison, William R.William R. Larison, Jr., 80, of Allentown, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Jean A. (Brown) Larison. The couple celebrated 58 years of marriage on March 17th. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late William R., Sr. and Ada G. (Strauss) Larison. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Fogelsville and was active in the Girl Scouts. He was a machinist by trade, having worked for Ingersoll Rand for 29 years until the company moved to the south. Since then, William worked for various companies before retiring from Henderson Machine Shop. He was an Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. Survivors: Wife; Children, Debra J. Larison of Alburtis and Russell W. Larison of Allentown; Sister, Janet D'Nicuola; Brother, Bruce A. Larison; Step-Sister, Gloria Miller; Grandchildren, Russell and Holly Larison; a Great-Grandchild on the way; Nieces; Nephews; and a special pal, Noodles. He was preceded in death by a Grandson, Russell W. Larison, Jr. Services: 11 AM Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at St. John's U.C.C., 1027 Church St., Fogelsville. A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM Tuesday in the church. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
