Patsy M. Iampietro Obituary
Iampietro, Patsy M.Patsy M. "Pasquale" Iampietro, 95, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, August 7, 2014. He was the son of the late Daniel "Donato" and Rose Iampietro. Patsy was preceded in death by his late wife, Mary (Knopf) Iampietro and his late wife, Louise A. (Murphy) Iampietro. Patsy proudly served in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He worked in the grocery business for most of his life; as a retail clerk at Food Fair and Pantry Pride, working at a chicken market and owning and operating his own market on the corner of 7th and Spring St. Patsy was also a representative for the retail clerk union. Later he worked for the railroad as well as the Bethlehem Area School District in the maintenance dept. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Larry M. and his wife, Linda of Hereford Twp.; Patrick D. and his wife, Lucia of Bethlehem and Robert L. of Emmaus as well as his grandchildren, Paul and his wife, Jackie; Luke and his wife, Brandie; Mary and Amelia; his great granddaughter, Alyssa and his sister, Josephine Ford of Bethlehem. Services: Friends may call on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 10-11 a.m. immediately followed by a funeral service at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels 4240 Fritch Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18020 and/or 1031 W.
